Laughter & Tears
A child’s’ laughter,
as he plays;
An old mans’ tears,
to be wiped away.
The child’s’ laughter will
turn to tears,
as he, too will fill the years.
The old mans’ tears of
by-gone years,
soon, he will no longer weep.
So laugh with life
along roads of tears:
The life you build may be
spun with gold.
Hold dear the laughter;
Hold dear the tears.
